How You Can Help

To get an organization of the complexity of EDL off the ground will require more than just money (although a significant amount of money will be required).  What we also need are people who share our vision, and are willing to share of themselves to help move America towards becoming a culture of individual self-reliance.

For example:

  • If you are a high net worth individual or philanthropist, yes, you could write a big, tax-deductible check to us (and we hope you’ll consider doing so!).  But what we would also value is your knowledge and experience, of how you developed yourself from a person of meager resources and skills, into someone who has excelled in their profession, who has created wealth and value, are willing to share your insights with people who struggling to get onto the ladder of success.
  • If you are a small business owner, yes, you could support us financially.  But what you could also do is create apprenticeship programs for carefully-screened people who are trying to advance their skills, to get onto the ladder of success.
  • If you are a former welfare entitlement recipient, but broke free and now enjoy the rewards of self-determination, your sharing of your journey would be invaluable to us, and to help inspire others.
  • If you are a former (or disgruntled) welfare entitlement pusher, who recognizes the destructive nature of dependency, and of telling otherwise able people that they cannot survive on their own, we need your unique insights.
  • If you are part of the educational establishment, you are on the front lines of understanding what leads people to dependency. The educational establishment starts cultivating the welfare entitlement mentality, and expectations of receiving values without effort, or renumeration.  You can help us to understand how better to break the cycle of dependency, by addressing the problem at the root.

If you fit one of these categories, or have any other special insight that would be useful in advancing our cause, please contact us.
